NXT 433

January 31, 2017 – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Jesus Cross def. Lacey Evans
This was part of Evans’ attempt to clean the trash out of NXT’s women’s division. This was perfectly fine, but pretty unremarkable. Evans has a nice moonsault and Cross is a perfect gimmick wrestler. **

Nick Miller & Shane Thorne def. Gabriel Ealy & Uriel Ealy
The Ealys are wearing vests and sunglasses now, presumably because being identical twins isn’t enough of a gimmick. They look like Usher with those sunglasses on. I don’t review squashes. N/A

EC3 has officially signed with NXT.

Roderick Strong def. Tyler Bate {Number One Contender Match}
This was a really good back and forth match that showed us that these two have nice chemistry. Of course, they’d go on to have a series of insane tag matches and an even better short singles match in the summer. Strong now gets a shot at Pete Dunne’s title. ***½
